My main work on the internet is to publish the works of Charlotte Mary Yonge, a 19th century English author. She lived all her life in the village of Otterbourne in Hampshire, and published over 160 works. During the 20th century her works were derided as "Tractarian" and "Victorian", but now attempts are being made to re-evaluate and rehabilitate her novels and stories. She could write very good stories, well worth at least one read each! A web page for Miss Yonge is available at www.menorot.com/cmyonge.htm, and there are links on that page to other CMY sites.
Through Miss Yonge's references in her books, I have found other good authors whose works are now neglected - among them Freidrich de la Motte Fouque. These are Germanic legends, but published here in English. I have also prepared a copy of Marmion by Sir Walter Scott - available on Phoenix **NOW**
