Cover images are missing height and width attributes |
| Description: | Opened: 2002-02-26 18:26 |
These attributes are missing on the <img> elements in search results. This results in display anamolies in that first the images are drawn with a default size then the text has to reflow when the images are downloaded.
True but the problem is we don't know in advance the Height x Width size...Contributors can upload their own images which are at most 100px width and 150px height. The final size can be anywhere within those values because the resize program preserve the original ratio.Anyway, maybe I can embed images in a fixed sized CSS container and then center them im it.I'll give it a try..
Definetly not possible. The CSS trick would break compatibility with some important browsers and images size can't be pre-computed.
